This Isn't Politics: It's a Spiritual Takeover
The battle for America's soul isn't happening in Washington alone. It's unfolding right now in New York City, and what happens here will ripple across every city and town in this nation. In 2024, I released a prophetic word that seemed extreme to many: "I see the head of Mussolini and the head of Stalin rising in the earth." This warning came before New York City elected Zoran Mamdani, a mayor who openly identifies as a Democratic socialist. Before you dismiss this as political commentary, understand this: ideas don't die, they hibernate. When conditions become favorable, they return wearing new clothes, speaking softer tones, wrapped in false moral urgency. Millions are falling for it, and the consequences will shape your children's future.
The Ancient Pattern of Collectivism Repeating in Modern America
Every collectivist movement throughout history follows an identical pattern. It begins with false compassion, manufactured justice, and promises to help the vulnerable. New York City contains millions of vulnerable people, making it the perfect testing ground for ideologies that sound compassionate but lead to bondage. History reveals a three-stage progression that should alarm every American.
First comes the false promise: "The system is broken, but we'll fix it together." This message resonates deeply with struggling millennials and Gen Z voters facing economic hardship. They hear hope and cast their votes accordingly. Second comes the expansion: "We need more government power to make things fair." People willingly surrender authority to leaders promising equality. Third comes the suppression: individual freedom becomes redefined as the obstacle to collective betterment.
This isn't speculation or political opinion. This is documented historical record. Benito Mussolini declared, "Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, and nothing against the state." He didn't present this as a threat but as a vision of unity, and crowds roared their approval. Joseph Stalin proclaimed, "The state is the instrument of power and the struggle for the suppression of the exploiting classes." He framed totalitarian control as justice against elites. Different men, different nations, same assumptions, same political ideologies, and critically, the same demonic networks orchestrating their rise to power.
When Government Replaces God as Provider
The most dangerous shift happening in America today is the normalization of government as primary provider, protector, and moral authority. When the state is framed this way, something always gets displaced, and it's never government. It's God. This represents one of the most dangerous moments in modern U.S. history, though most people missed it because the attack isn't physical. There were no planes flying into buildings. Instead, ideas are being planted into minds through carefully crafted social media propaganda.
The Hispanic community experienced one of the most expansive propaganda campaigns ever deployed in any U.S. election. Millions consumed the messaging without recognizing the ideological poison it contained. The new strategy isn't immediate destruction but gradual erosion spanning generations. Your children's and grandchildren's futures hang in the balance right now.
The most dangerous governments don't begin with violence because that's too obvious. They start with promises of care. They don't demand obedience initially. They first ask for trust. "I'm not like those other politicians," they say. "You can trust me." History proves that when government becomes savior, God gets quietly replaced.
As pastor of a multi-site church spanning from Long Island to New Jersey, I witness an undeniable connection between people's view of God and their view of government. The 20th century provided real-world data supporting this correlation. Collectivist, socialist, and communist regimes resulted in tens of millions of deaths worldwide, economic collapse, mass coercion, and systematic suppression of both conscience and religion.
The Spiritual Pressure Building in New York City
I've ministered extensively in Hungary and Ukraine, regions where communism fell only 40 years ago. I witnessed firsthand how those systems eliminated people's ability to dream, envision futures, or express religious conviction freely. What's happening now in New York isn't an airplane striking a building. It's an idea being delivered into minds through the gates of people's eyes and ears.
This transformation doesn't occur because leaders start out overtly evil. It happens because centralized power always demands total compliance. Power never remains neutral. New York already carries one of the highest tax burdens in the United States, with a small percentage of earners funding massive public spending. History demonstrates that such expansion doesn't eliminate inequality. It concentrates authority. Concentrated authority always demands silence in exchange for security.
There are realities I cannot speak freely about in this space because doing so would close doors to nations where I minister. But I will say this: many of you believe "this could never happen here." You're in Omaha, Montana, or Idaho, assuming you're safe. When God gave me that prophetic word in 2024, He didn't show me bodies. He showed me heads, the heads of Mussolini and Stalin, because this doesn't begin with tanks and guns. It begins with mindsets.
The core belief system being promoted is simple: the state will provide what only God can provide. The collective knows better than individual conscience. Personal conviction must bow to public consensus. As a New York City pastor, I feel that pressure constantly. I know why God sovereignly brought me from the Midwest to this city. Nobody is shutting me up. I carry the anointing of Jehu, knowing how to confront Jezebel's systems and call down fire from heaven against God's enemies.
Why This Is Theological, Not Just Political
New York City functions as a prophetic gate, a spiritual portal into this nation. That's why this conversation transcends politics and enters theological territory. Scripture warns plainly: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and not in God" (Jeremiah 17:5). I didn't prophesy a dictator. I prophesied a direction, and direction determines destination. Our entire nation will arrive at whatever destination this direction leads toward.
Jesus never commanded government to disciple nations. He commissioned the church for that task. He never told Caesar to feed the poor. He told His people to feed the poor. That's why V1 Church operates food distribution lines that stretch down city blocks. We're not waiting for Caesar to fulfill mandates given to the body of Christ. We serve physical bread and the bread of life simultaneously.
When the church abdicates its responsibility, something else fills that vacuum. When government fills that vacuum, compassion slowly transforms into control. It's not compassion flowing from the cross but from a government influenced by spiritual forces. That false compassion always becomes very real control.
The Call to Discernment and Spiritual Warfare
Discernment matters more than personality. Ideas matter more than intentions. Many New Yorkers voted for Zoran Mamdani with genuinely good intentions. They care about poor people, injustice, and affordability. They connected those good intentions to a demonic infrastructure with terrible intentions. That's precisely how this always unfolds.
We can pray for our mayor while still testing the spirits behind our mayor. We can honor authority while speaking truth to authority. History doesn't repeat exactly, but it rhymes. I would rather face mockery for warning early than mourn because we remained quiet too long.
Keep your eyes open and watch vigilantly. Keep your mouth open and pray fervently. Speak authoritatively in the spiritual realm. Stand firm. This is how righteous people respond when giants begin stirring. I come from the lineage of Joshua and Caleb. We know what to do when giants enter our promised land.
These are giants of ideology opposed to democracy and Christianity. Our weapons aren't physical. I'm not inciting physical violence. The weapons of our warfare are spiritual, mighty through God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). If demonic propaganda can garner millions of views, we need to become an equally loud righteous minority. Let's be the remnant that sounds the alarm from New York City, the spiritual gateway of the United States.
Stand Guard Over Your Family's Future
The choice before us is stark: will we recognize this spiritual takeover while there's still time to respond, or will we wake up one generation from now wondering how we lost our freedoms? This message isn't about fear. It's about spiritual vigilance and active resistance through prayer, discernment, and unwavering commitment to biblical truth.
Share this warning with your friends and family. Sound the alarm in your sphere of influence. The battle for America's future is being waged in the realm of ideas, and every believer has a role to play in this hour.
