The Devil is Bound But Not Silent: Breaking Free from Deception in the Last Days
I had a dream last night that shook me to my core. In this dream, I walked into a school cafeteria and encountered a powerful demon, a principality speaking with a deep, commanding voice. But here's what grabbed my attention: this demon was bound in chains. He couldn't move, couldn't physically do anything, yet his voice echoed throughout that cafeteria. Students were listening, mesmerized, under his control through his words alone.
When I recognized what was happening, I began to speak back to this demon through the authority of Christ. "You're powerless," I declared. "You have no authority. Shut your mouth, you lying devil." And something remarkable happened. The students watching me confront this bound demon suddenly realized they didn't have to submit to his voice anymore. They joined me, assembling together and crying out for Jesus and the gospel.
The Lord revealed the meaning: the devil is bound but not silent. This is the reality we're living in right now, and understanding this truth will set you free from the spiritual warfare you're experiencing.
Understanding Spiritual Warfare in Our Current Season
We're living in unprecedented times of deception. The Bible tells us that whatever is bound on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. Satan's power has been restricted, but his voice continues to operate through willing vessels.
Right now, governments are deploying tens of thousands of AI bots with profiles that look real. These artificial intelligence agents are shaping discussions in comment sections, sowing discord and division, literally trying to start internal conflict. You're interacting with non-people designed to manipulate your thoughts and emotions. This is breaking free from deception at its most urgent.
Beyond digital deception, you're experiencing rejection from friends and family members. People who once stood with you are now pushing you away. The accuser of the brethren is bringing up your past mistakes, placing a spiritual muzzle over your mouth. Satan whispers, "Who are you to say that? Who are you to talk about that? What about what you've done?"
The Prophetic Dream: Bound But Not Silent
Let me take you deeper into the prophetic dream God gave me. The school represents discipleship. The students represent believers being influenced. The bound demon represents principalities and ruling spirits that, while restricted in their physical power, continue to speak lies through human vessels.
These ruling spirits are operating through:
Government propaganda and AI-driven psychological operations
False ministers teaching that spiritual gifts have ceased
Religious voices claiming people are disqualified from ministry
Family members bringing condemnation through gossip and accusations
The demon was in chains, yet his voice was still controlling people. This is exactly how Satan operates now. He's restricted, but he's weaponizing human beings to do his work through gossip, lies, division, and condemnation.
Breaking Free from Condemnation and Shame
I need you to hear this: you are not your past. The spirit of Herod and the spirit of Haman have been released to silence voices. These are demons that try to shut people up, to blackmail believers with their history.
If you're a praying mother who feels paralyzed by past mistakes, I'm telling you right now that muzzle is coming off. If you're a hardworking man who believes that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, you will not be silenced by condemnation.
The assignment of shame is canceled. The assignment of guilt is broken. The assignment of condemnation has no authority over your life anymore. God is not holding your past against you, so why are you allowing the enemy to use it as a weapon?
Rising as Lions in Spiritual Warfare
The Lord showed me there are two kinds of lions operating right now. Satan prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. His lions do evil work that I won't even describe. But there's another kind of lion rising up: the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is awakening His people to roar truth while Satan roars lies.
You're about to roar louder than your lying family members. You're about to roar louder than church members who gossip and create division. You're about to roar louder than governments sowing discord and trying to cause civil war.
This is your moment to rise.
Not all of us will be viral. Not all of us will be famous. Not all of us will have large ministries or write bestselling books. Much of that is idolatry and pride anyway. But God is asking: Who will be known in heaven? Who will be a prayer warrior recognized in heaven and feared in hell? Who will be an enemy to the enemy?
The Hit List: Spirits We're Warring Against
God gave me His hit list of demonic spirits we're actively engaging in spiritual warfare:
The Spirit of Haman - This demon tries to silence voices and shut people up through intimidation and fear.
The Spirit of Herod - This principality attempts to kill destinies and silence prophetic voices before they can fully emerge.
The Spirit of Leviathan - The spirit of pride with armor so tightly fit together that not even air can pass between. This is pride that won't humble itself, won't be teachable, won't submit to authority. Watch for people who are always angry, always lashing out, who have no pastor or local church, operating in strange fire prophecy without accountability.
Breaking free from deception means recognizing these spirits and refusing to partner with them. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. I'm seeing a divine reversal where the humble move from the back of the line to the front, while the prideful go from front to back.
It's Time to Pray Like Never Before
Satan has been drawing you away from the prayer closet. You've felt an unusual desire for carnality, for scrolling endlessly on your phone, for anything except prayer and seeking God. This isn't just physical laziness. This is spiritual warfare designed to keep you from your greatest weapon.
We're in the last days, and many believers recognize this. That's why prayer and intercession have never been more critical. You may never be known by man, but you will be known by heaven as an intercessor. You will be infamous in hell because you tore down the devil's kingdom through your prayers.
The devil is bound, but prayer warriors and intercessors have been doing the work of binding him. Now the Lord says we must roar louder than his voice. We must activate the Lion of Judah on the inside of us.

The prophetic dream I had wasn't just for me. It was for you. You have the authority to speak back to the demons trying to control your life, your family, your mind. The students in my dream realized they could fight back when they saw someone else demonstrate that authority.
You can do the same. You can roar. You can pray. You can wage spiritual warfare against the lies trying to bind your loved ones.
