These false Christians will be ruthless in their self-righteousness, and they'll do it all under a banner of biblical truth. They'll be cancel culture Christians, call-out culture Christians, character assassins who operate as accusers of the brethren.

The enemy's primary weapon in 2026 will be offense. Just as Judas Iscariot opened his heart to offense and ultimately switched teams, many believers will do the same without even realizing it. They'll think they're standing for truth while actually serving the devil's purposes.

This is why the first three months of 2026 are crucial. We must journey with Jesus, learning who He truly is versus the false Christ that many will follow. You'll know them by their fruit, not by their viral videos or book sales. Words can be scripted. Theology can be AI-generated. But fruit doesn't lie.

Show me someone's marriage. Show me their children. Show me how many souls they've won for Christ. Show me if they've made disciples who are making disciples. These are the metrics that matter. In a world full of rhetoric, fruit is the only reliable indicator of authenticity.

Preparing for Surprises

Don't listen to mediocre minds if you're pursuing God's greatness. Don't take marriage advice from people with broken marriages. Don't take financial counsel from people with poor finances. Don't take ministry direction from people who haven't won souls or made disciples. The fruit speaks louder than the words.
